Uvalde Methodist Women
PURPOSE
The organized unit of Uvalde Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose PURPOSE is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.
MEETINGS
The Uvalde Methodist Women meet on the fourth Thursday of the month with fellowship, food, and informative programs. Please see the church calendar for times as times will alternate each month between lunch and dinner meetings so that more women may participate.
GATHERINGS / EVENTS
Special events include the annual joint meeting of the Mystery Dinner hosted by Diane Underwood, UMW Sunday, the annual fall bazaar held in November, hosting the fellowship gathering following the Ministerial Alliance-sponsored community Thanksgiving service the third Sunday of November, and the joint UMW Christmas party and Ornament Exchange held the second Tuesday in December.

UMW Circle of ConneXion
Meetings
Ladies meet on the last Monday evening of every month at 6:30 p.m. for games and fellowship. The group also meets to make crafts and to prepare casseroles for the annual fall bazaar.
